This is it – we are here!

Recital is Saturday, June 20st at 1:00 pm.  It will be at Bloomfield High School located at 160 Broad Street, Bloomfield.

I will be reachable until 9:30 am on the day of the show by text, email or facebook message.

Arrival

• All students must arrive by 12:15 in costume for your first number.

• Only the mother/guardian wearing the specific wristband handed out will be allowed backstage with the child.
• Mother/Guardian and performer will enter through the cafeteria doors on State Street and find the table with your child’s class on it.
• For safety and security all other persons will enter through the auditorium doors on Broad Street. Doors will open at 12:30 pm.  Anyone found in the auditorium before that will be asked to leave and wait in the hallway.
• Only persons with wristbands and performers will be permitted in any dressing area. Anyone found in dressing areas not with a wristband will be escorted out of the building and not permitted to return. This is for the safety and security of all involved and will be highly enforced. 

Costume:

• Performers should wear age appropriate makeup and a hairstyle flattering to them. 
• Performers do not wear underpants similar to a bathing suit.
• For performers with multiple skirts, please bring everything labeled on the hangar. We will place them on tables backstage.
• Staff will place recital shirt over last costume for curtain call.
• PLEASE LEAVE ALL JEWELRY AND ANY ELECTRONICS AT HOME.  WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST/STOLEN ITEMS. ALSO, PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL COSTUMES, SHOES, AND PIECES ARE LABELED WITH NAMES.  ANY JEWELRY AND ELECTRONICS I FIND BACKSTAGE I WILL CONFISCATE.

Audience:

• You can enter the high school at 12:30 pm, which is when the auditorium will open.
• Tickets must be purchased ahead of time.
• No flash pictures are allowed.  You may take pictures from your seat as long as you do not disturb the people around you.  Please do not come to the front of the stage.
• There is no smoking allowed in the building, there is also no food or drink allowed in the auditorium.
• There is no saving of seats except for one for the mother/guardian.
• If you need to enter/exit the auditorium, please do so between numbers and at the rear of the room.

Dismissal and Other Notes:

• After curtain call is over the mother/guardian with the wristband ONLY will be permitted to enter the stage and pick up the child.   All other performers will remain backstage for the entire show.
• We will have a photo station set up alongside the hallway where the performers can be picked up. As the show will continue moving once it has started without stopping, please wait until after your child has performed to take pictures at the photo station.
